SKOPOS team can’t escape from the Tower Jog

The team at the London office of SKOPOS market insight, including the MD, Darren Noyce, are in training to tackle London’s 10k Tower Jog for another year. This year the event is on the 10th May and the team will stand out amongst the crowds with SKOPOS t-shirts. Last year the event raised just under £100,000 which contributed to the funding of education in heart disease for both the public and health professionals.

The BHF’S Hearts First Jog has been taking place for 28 years. This makes it the longest running event of its kind in London. It involves running laps around the Tower of London with each lap equalling 1km. In total the team must complete 10 laps each in order to successfully finish the event and raise sponsorship money. Through the sweat, laughter and tears the team know they will be digging deep for a great cause as sadly heart disease is still the UK’s biggest killer.

Rhaynukka Soni, Senior Research Consultant at SKOPOS says, “I am very nervous about this event as I haven’t done any running for about a year now. Therefore I am expecting this to be both tough and challenging but that, I think, is what motivated me to do the run in the first place! The run is for a good cause and that definitely helped confirm for me that I should take part. added Also, as the whole team is pitching in I am sure it will be great fun. See you at the finishing line!”

Darren Noyce, MD, SKOPOS market insight says, “The Tower Jog is an Annual Event for the SKOPOS team. We like the camaraderie, as well as the sense of achievement it gives us. Some of us run, some jog, some

walk….but the result is the same. The cause (BHF) is a very worthwhile one, and many of us have personal reasons for doing this too”.
